Fear
What is holding us back? What is causing everything to fade to black? Fear turns the blue skies to gray, And takes the joy of life away. It steals our joy, and takes away our peace, And with it our troubles never seem to cease. Fear takes away the forward motion, And in our lives, it causes erosion. Falling apart, not knowing what to do, Wondering how am I going to get through. The dreams and plans that I once had, With fear, are made to look bad. I know a man who knows what needs to be done, And He is Jesus, God's own son. He shows a love that casts out all fear, And when it is present, the fear will never be near.
